I am so delighted by the response to this comm and how participatory everybody is! (Especially because it gives me so much more to READ!)

The humidity here in NYC is getting me down. It's not all that hot yet but it's coming. In the meantime I've got fans on all over the place. Bleagh.

It's been gross all right! I've gotten caught in the rain without an umbrella like three times since last Monday. That's really my own fault of course, but I'm choosing to blame the weather anyway.

Earlier today I was walking home and I got into a very interesting conversation with a street bookseller. He was wearing a hat and I wasn't. But I didn't want to end the conversation so I let myself get pretty drenched.

I haven't been on DW (or any of my other favorite online hangouts) for a few days and IT IS KILLING ME. Don't get me wrong, I'm not addicted or anything *coughs* but... I really, really missed you guys. This comm means a lot to me.

Being seperated from my favorite group of Wodehouse enthusiasts was difficult, but I had tons of work to do. I'm a singer/songwriter working on my first album (which is almost out!) And for the past few months I've also been writing my second short movie, which I will be directing in July. It's all pretty intense, so I'm glad I have Jeeves and Bertie and you lovely people to help me unwind.

I mostly write folk music, but this album will have a few indie/alternative pieces as well.

I graduated from film school last year, and this will be my second movie. So I guess I'm still not sure where I am as a director yet. But the short movies I've written/directed so far all seem to have experimental elements in them.
