Is it better to comment anon or off anon on the fills? I've seen both here. Does it make a difference to the writer? Does an off anon comment seem more real and more valuable or can an off anon comment maybe be a mood killer?

Whichever way you're comfortable. I comment as myself on fills I'm comfortable doing so, otherwise I'm anonymous. Safety is the primary concern here. As for comments, any comments are welcome comments!

I do the same. Sometimes I feel comfortable enough to comment off-anon, but sometimes I prefer the anonymity :)

Personally, I prefer off-anon comments on my stories because I just like to know who's out there reading and who I'm connecting with. Definitely never a mood killer, so as long as you're comfortable, go ahead. I totally understand the desire to comment on anon though and I do it for various reasons myself.

I understand that, but a large part of this community is anonymity.
