Hey, gang -

I have this hanging in my home. I got it at an antique photo sale about 30 years ago!





This was one of many "sex warning movies" that were uh, about sex warnings? Not so much. More an excuse to watch sex.






A "petting party" was basically everything except sexual intercourse. So, no, it didn't stop with a kiss! Vintage cars had "rumble seats", shown below.  You could get up to a lot back there!

Did anyone in Wodehouse world know about this?

On one hand, "petting party" sounds like a cuddlefest, kind of the asexual idea of an orgy? I love the term, it's soft and kinda hilarious. On the other hand, I like how these posters are raising the right questions. *Is* spooning dangerous? What's more dangerous, big spoon or little spoon? Truly a riddle for the ages :P
