This comm is a great opportunity to practice different styles/genres. Humor, crack, crossovers, and poetry are a few things I'd like to try, if and when I ever find the time. Perhaps you have your own wild pipe dreams in mind.

So, if you have prompt ideas that are wacky, unusual, or otherwise non-standard, post them here!

FYI, for the uninitiated: Crack fic is a work of fanfiction that is intentionally absurd, surprising, or ridiculous, with a premise or events that would be completely implausible in canon. The name stems from the notion that the author must have been ingesting some psychoactive substance just to think up the idea.

Jeeves/Bertie: Bertie thinks he's alone and talks to himself and says something about his feelings or desire forJeeves but in the room is also a parrot that will remember Bertie's words and tell Jeeves.

Jeeves/Bertie: While Jeeves is on vacation some supernatural thing happens to Bertie and he can suddenly hear other peoples' thoughts. He learns what people think and especially what they think about him is terribly disappointing and he is prepared for the worst when Jeeves returns but Jeeves' thoughts are different in many ways.

I've gotten into this huge long section about Herne Bay and beach huts etc. and it's getting complicated. Maybe I should write it in Jeeves POV but that takes away some of the fun. Damn me and my penchant for long complicated fics!

After a routine check-up Jeeves is being told that he has only a couple of weeks left to live. Jeeves decides not to tell Bertie about it but wants to find an appropriate wife for him and get them married so Bertie will be loved and well cared for in the future. Bertie is naturally reluctant at first but gives in eventually because Jeeves' choice of woman for him is a really nice one. On the day of their wedding Jeeves gets a call from his doctor who tells him that there has been a mix-up and he's actually perfectly healthy. Now Jeeves has to stop the wedding somehow and decides to finally tell Bertie that he loves him.

When Bertie sees that Jeeves is about to kiss him, Bertie goes for that kiss without hesitation but Jeeves actually wanted to do something else and only made a move that Bertie misinterpreted.

Jeeves and his invisible penis/Invisidick

Jeeves has a giant penis--just how big is up to you, though I picture it being the size of a rolled-up carpet I guess? Sometimes bigger. XD
oh and it's INVISIBLE, called Invisidick or ID for short. *snickers*
It causes all sorts of problems for Jeeves as he's going about his day.
Bertie doesn't know about it yet but he'll trip over it at some point.

Jeeves/Bertie: as part of some wacky Wodehousian caper, they need to assume false names/identities, and they arbitrarily choose the names Stephen and Hugh...

How's about Jeeves and Wooster body swap? A mad dash through a thunderstorm or such and pair get hit by lightning. Next day they wake up in each others body and have to both survive as other and figure out how to get selves back to normal. Cue realisations of how other feels because of way body reacts, and appreciation of what the other does for them. Please let them have a happy ending though.
