The man and Jeeves seem rather happy about seeing each other again so Bertie wants to give them the chance to talk some more and invites the man to stay with them while he's in the city. Bertie quickly regrets his offer. He does not like the familiarity between Jeeves and the man. Bertie gets more and more jealous. Jeeves notices that and is confused.
