Thanks to everyone for participating in the (very civilized) discussion and poll! It’s been informative. And it’s helpful to know how the members feel about so many issues around these prompts. give_satisfaction is meant to be a space where anyone can post anything. No kink shaming applies to the mods as well.  We apologize.

So the adjusted guidelines are the same, except that the poster is asked to put content warnings at the start of their prompt. The AO3 model is ideal for this, so we’ll be using the same structure.

Graphic Depictions Of Violence
Major Character Death
Rape/Non-Con
Suicide
Incest

Does anyone have any other suggestions before this is implemented?

I don't have a suggestion this seems like a great plan :), I was just wondering can I or you put the prompt that was deleted back ?

Looks like a solid list!

You might have this covered already, but I'd make sure to have the rules say something like "use the warning if this event happens in the prompt or if the topic is a big part of the prompt." (Since the deleted prompt wouldn't actually need a warning for the first part of that, only the second.)

How about having a post where the members can list their uncommon/not obvious triggers?
